Duplex Sublease Available in Bushwick

I'm currently renting a duplex in Bushwick and am looking for a replacement to sublease my room.

I'm moving out and my room will be available to sublease from September 1st, 2026 until the end of the lease on May 31st, 2027.

The building is 183 on Eldert St in Bushwick off the Wilson St station on the L train. There's plenty of delis, barber shops, laundromats, markets, pizza spots, Citi bike stands, local restaurants, even a shipping post and a park with a dog area, a playground and a church in the nearby area.

The room is located in the back of the unit. The apartment has a main bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a half bathroom located downstairs with only a toilet. The kitchen has a dishwasher, big fridge with two freezers and a huge pantry closet. There is also central AC with each room having its own AC unit operated via remote control throughout the apartment.
Downstairs in the basement there is access to a secondary entrance to the building as well as a washer/dryer in-building operated by a free-to-download app. A single washer/dryer cycle is $2 fundable through the app. The basement also serves a storage space for any miscellaneous items and it has unlocked access to the backyard shared by neighboring building. There is also access to the rooftop on the top floor.

Hot/cold water is included with the rent, which is due on the FIRST of the month. Electricity is separate utility charge as well as wifi.

Tours of the space are available for scheduling.

**The important thing to note is that apartment is currently occupied by 5 other tenants, including two cats and a 5 year old boy who is the son of two of the tenants. All of the remaining occupying tenants have been living together forma considerable time so they all have a strong, friendly bond with each other. We are all of different races, ethnicities and backgrounds, LGBTQ friendly and anti-MAGA.

We are seeking primarily a female/non-binary identifying subleaser to occupy the room as we believe it is important for the boy to grow up in a home where female values are emphasized, but we are also willing to interview anyone interested to get to know more about them and what they can contribute.
