Spare room available starting August 31st

My girlfriend and I are looking for someone to fill our spare bedroom, starting August 31st. We're open to short term: month to month, or 3 to 6 month stretches work great for us.

The room: Spacious, with two big windows and a nonworking decorative fireplace. Comes with a queen bed, small dresser, desk, and nightstand. Closet space is on the smaller side. (Note: it won't look exactly like the staged photos)

The apartment: 1st floor walk up. Washer and dryer in unit, plus a backyard that's open for everyone to use. We also have a cat named Iris and a dog named Mina, so you'll need to be comfortable living with animals (no additional pets, unfortunately, since we're at capacity).

The location: About two blocks from the J train at Halsey St.
The cost: $1,600/month plus utilities (split between all of us).

Move in details: $1,600 deposit, background check required.

Us: I'm 30, fully remote. My girlfriend is 33, hybrid schedule. We're both queer and looking for someone who'd feel at home in an inclusive space, low key and considerate, someone who keeps shared spaces clean and respects everyone's routines.
