Bedroom & Office Available in Bushwick

Hi all!

My name is Tom, and starting June 1st, a bedroom is available for rent in a beautiful two bedroom apartment near the Wilson Avenue L stop and the Chauncey Street J stop in a quiet section of Bushwick, Brooklyn. My wonderful roommate Nate is leaving New York City for a new work opportunity and I am now looking for someone to take over his bedroom.

In addition to the bedroom, you will have a private office space all to yourself, and it's perfect for someone working from home. Upon move-in, the office will be furnished. The bedroom will not be furnished. There's a large kitchen with an eat-in bar and stools, and a spacious living room that gets plenty of natural light.

The bedroom is 18 x 8 with a large closet and a window that looks out to the buildings beautiful backyard space.

The office is 15 x 8 with a window that looks out the street.

You will be sharing the apartment with me. The landlords are a very nice married couple and they live in the apartment below. This building is a duplex. The landlords have always been great and responsive.

I keep a very clean home and it's important that my future roommate keeps things clean as well. I have established a warm, welcoming, and cozy living situation in this apartment and I want to keep it that way. Cleanliness, communication, and respect are values that are very important to me in a shared living space.

This is not a party house. Looking to rent to 1 person only. No pets. No smoking.

WiFi and utilities are shared and range from $50 to $100 per month.

About me:
I'm in my mid's 30's, and I'm originally from Philadelphia. I've been living in Brooklyn since 2016. I work 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday for a non-profit in Manhattan. I love movies, reading, podcasts, and being with friends and family.
