Hey there,
I'm looking for a subletter to move into a large bedroom of my 3 bedroom apartment, available immediately.
This is a short term lease, with a 6 month commitment.
The apartment is on ground level, and the room is situated at the front of the building. Pre-war building, beautifully kept unit.

The bedroom is very spacious (10ft x 12 ft) with exposed brick and large windows. There is a smaller closet in your bedroom, but there is plenty of room for a wardrobe.

The 3rd bedroom is used as the “den” where there is a sofa and TV for relaxing and getting cozy. I have pretty much every streaming service for you to access. The den leads out to the backyard, which is a full-lot size, and has a table, chairs, fire pit and grill, perfect for any spring/summer weekend!

The dining room and kitchen are very spacious with an open concept layout. The kitchen is fully stocked, with pots, pans and every kitchen gadget you can imagine!

The building is small with only 4 floors and a basement tenant. We are a nice group who communicates with one another for anything building related and often help each other out with packages, etc.

The apartment is right around the corner from the Myrtle/Broadway “triangle” and is a 7 min walk to the JZM stop. Lots of bars and coffee shops to choose from. We have a Food Bazaar, Mr. Kiwi all within minutes walk, and Dollar Tree about 10 minutes away on Myrtle. A laundromat 5 minutes away, and the closest park is Herbert Von King on Lafayette and is a 20 minute walk.

A little about me, I'm a 47 year old woman working in event production/publicist. I work hybrid so it’s a mix of when I’m home during the day. I'm outgoing and friendly, respectful and a great communicator.

I like things clean and tidy and lead with the fact we live in NYC so any trash and dishes should be taken care of daily. Communal spaces should looked after by both of us.

I enjoy having friends over from time to time and throw the occasional dinner party. Outside of that, the apartment is my haven and I enjoy a chill vibe often burning a candle, and listening to music.

Must love and not be allergic to cats! I recently adopted 2 kittens, who are now 1 year old. Remy an orange tabby and her bother Archie is white with orange spots. They are lovable, curious, and still have their kitten instincts, so whomever decides to rent the room, should be mindful of ensuring the apartment remains a safe place for them (ie, not leaving shoes with laces out, and any other potential hazards).

Looking for a roommate who is kind, respectful, easy going, and communicative. Non-smoker, non-knitters (due to kittens), no couples, LGBTQ+ friendly
