Unfurnished room for 1 (one) roommate until October 2026.

$1052/month (first month and security deposit to move in) + utilities and Wi-Fi. We also split the cost of shared household items like paper towels and toilet paper, etc.

Located in Bushwick between L (Bushwick/Aberdeen) and J (Chauncey) trains (A & C also nearby), 3rd fl. Walk-up. Laundry in the building. Roof Deck.

No pets, No couples, Non-smokers strongly preferred.

This home is best for someone looking for a quiet, peaceful space rather than a social hub. Occasional (not super frequent) gatherings are okay. Because the household has a mix of approaches and is culturally diverse, we’ve set up some shared agreements to keep things running smoothly.

We're looking for a roommate who genuinely values clean spaces and is happy to participate in a rotation, and who is committed to shared agreements. The other roommate in the space enjoys occasionally sharing meals together and would love to live with someone open to that, while still respecting space and independence. Queer BIPOC, female-identified individuals over 25 y/o are strongly encouraged to reach out.

M (They/Elle): I'm a POC non-binary/fluid AFAB person. I’m friendly but also really value my personal space. I need peaceful cohabitating situation and a roommate who’s kind, respectful, and shares the responsibility of keeping our common spaces clean.

J (They/them) : I'm a white non-binary transfem academic into cooking, language, organizing, bleak histories. Elder millennial (derogatory). Self-knowledge and flexibility are very important to me.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
I’ve lived here for over a year but have worked in the neighborhood for over 13 years now. I love going to a lot of queer places around here: the Boyfriend Coop is one of my faves. There’s just so much around for drinkers, and nondrinkers alike, bookworms, artists, musicians and philosophers as well as for community organizers who are amazing.
