Be my roommate! This is technically a 3 bedroom, but one of the bedrooms is really small, more like an office. Except I have it set up as a shared living room/guestroom.

This is a recently renovated hardwood floor apartment in a 6-unit apartment building in Bushwick halfway between the Dekalb L and the Myrtle Wyckoff station. It's pretty spacious by NYC standards. Your room has pretty good light and faces away from the street, so it's quiet. There's a bar on the first floor of the building (we're on the 4th). This probably sounds like a lie, but it's truly not loud at all, not to mention it doesn't stay up much past midnight; We barely notice them at all.

The building is owned by a competent management company and we have a good, fairly quick, responsive, super. We've never had any significant problems with the building and have had no pests.

I'm a 35 year old filmmaker whose day job is at a Taiwanese food company in Brooklyn. I like having people over for dinner maybe a few times a month but otherwise don't have friends over very much. I'm deifinely a Non-homebody--a fairly typical day for me would be leaving home at 9am and returning around 10pm. In general I'm an extrovert who likes socializing, but when I'm home I often just want to chill solo/recharge. But also am always down for conversation! I like keeping things clean but I try not to be too annoying about it.

I'm gay but you don't have to be!

Ideally, I'm looking for someone who ideally wants to join the lease with me. In order to get approved for the lease, the management company requires you make 90k/year. They also prefer applicants with salaried jobs. But if any of that is a hurdle for you, let's talk and see if we can figure something out!
