Room+Private Bathroom in Pet Friendly apartment

I have a beautiful room with a private bathroom available in a rent-stabilized building with cool amenities in the heart of Bushwick.

Important Note: I am looking exclusively for a female roommate with a hybrid or fully on-site work schedule. No full-time work-from-home (WFH) setups will be considered.

About Me:
I am easy-going, reserved, respectful, and an introvert. My home is truly my sanctuary, so keeping the apartment clean, peaceful, and organized is incredibly important to me. I share the space with my dogs and a lovely senior cat. The apartment is kept extremely neat with no pet odors, but because I have pets, my ideal roommate must genuinely love animals and be comfortable with the normal, occasional sounds of pet ownership.

It's really important that my roommate cleans after herself when using the kitchen and is willing to do her fair share of taking trash out, composting and sorting recycling.

The Ideal Roommate:
- Financially stable, respectful, drama-free, and pays rent consistently on time.
- Views home as a quiet place to unwind (doesn’t use the apartment as a primary "hangout space").
- Does NOT smoke or use any type of drugs. I can't stand the smell of cigarette or weed; sorry, but I don't welcome addicts in my home.
- No overnight couples on a semi-permanent living basis.
- Practices basic kitchen courtesy: no dirty dishes left in the sink for over 24 hours (we have a great dishwasher! 😉).
- Enjoys a highly organized space and is fully aligned with standard composting and proper, clean recycling habits (washing out containers before sorting). I handle taking the trash and recycling to the recycling room.

The Room & Layout:
A great-sized bedroom that easily fits a full bed, desk, and features a large closet. You will also have exclusive use of a second hallway closet right next to your private bathroom, which features a deep soaking tub. There is also an additional shared storage closet in the living room for suitcases and seasonal gear.
