Hi there! We are a kind, creative family and we welcome room renters with good vibes who are tidy, considerate and financially responsible. We welcome all ethnicities, nationalities and sexual orientations. I am a writer and my husband is an audio engineer and we have a huge 4 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in Bushwick with a lovely private garden, 2 blocks from the L and M train. Our neighborhood is diverse and vibrant with great new cafes, bars and restaurants, plus some fun shops, parks, galleries and clubs. There is a kickass French cafe a block away! And a Starbucks and Planet Fitness 2 blocks away. Not to mention White Castle and McDonalds and KFC! We are 20 minutes by subway to Union Square, and 30 minutes to Times Square.

We have lived here for 15 years and as Superhosts, we welcomed over 350 guests from all over the world! In response to the new short-term leasing regulations, we are looking for travelers, students, interns, artists or professionals who are cool and kind and considerate and in need of a room ranging from 1 month-several months. We are a couple with a neurodivergent teen, a very small dog and two friendly cats, and our home is welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are well spaced out, so there is plenty of privacy, but there is always someone to chat with when you want human contact. And if you need recommendations about where to go and what to do for fun when you? re in town, we are both long-term New Yorkers, and we can give you infinite suggestions!

Each guest room is furnished with a double bed, a dresser and a desk. One guest room is on the first floor with a window facing a cool street mural. It has been l soundproofed for your comfort. The second guest room is on the ground floor with a small window facing the garden, so it is naturally peaceful. You will be cozy and comfortable here, and the high-speed WIFI, gas, heat and electricity ARE ALL INCLUDED IN YOUR RENT. Each room is approximately 12 feet by 12 feet. We have a clean, modern kitchen where you are welcome to prepare and eat your meals. The guest bathroom is newly renovated, and you share it with one person regularly (or possibly with another guest if we have someone visiting).
We are not able to accommodate pets at this time, because we have our own dog and 2 cats. They are friendly, but don’t worry, we keep out home crisp and clean, and we would not have them trampling through your room (unless you wish, of course!)

All tenants must have proof of income or support for their stay. We ask for first and last month’s rent before you move in. Holler if you have any questions!
