Hi all~~
One of our lovely roommates has to move for work and we are looking for one roommate to fill in our very large first floor, 4 bdrm Park Slope apartment in a 5 unit building for Nov. 1st move in. We're looking for kind and clean animal friendly individuals (cat friendly). The shared living space is huge, and you can share in mealtime or evening work/chill time as much as your personal boundaries allow.

The room: This external room is the biggest in the apartment and has its own bathroom and door to our backyard! All of the rooms in the apt have high ceilings and good closet space, this room being as large as it is can easily house a queen or king bed if your heart desired. Currently there is a queen bed, dresser, end table, bookshelf, desk, and accent chair. It shares a wall with the kitchen, but no other bedrooms and feels almost like a studio. The window and door both face our private backyard that only we have access to!

We are super close to Prospect park we are just three breezy blocks from the 7th Ave F/G stop & a short walk to the R at 4th Ave/9th St. You will be sharing a fully furnished living room and kitchen (w/ dishwasher), the backyard.

About Us: You?ll have three sunny female roommates! Currently we?re all WFH but that?s temporary due to covid. Jessie is an event planner and pre-covid was often travelling. Maddy is a chill transplant from Arizona who works for a non-profit focused on providing diversity training for the sports industry. I?m a middle school English/History teacher who also runs a podcast!

You: Currently the place is chill, clean, friendly as we often spend time together (movie nights, wine nights, etc.) We pay our bills on time so we?re hoping to maintain that. We value having a comfortable and welcoming space so looking for people with ~*positive vibes*~ who can respect the space and one another. Pets (I. E. dogs) are sadly a no-go as of now (Landlord rule) but cats are okay. I have a baby Russian tortoise, and a kitten. We have also had some pet friends as overnight guests, and we love animals. NO COUPLES PLEASE (individuals will be interviewed exclusively).

Neighborhood: Located in a pretty prime spot, not far from 5th ave which is full of restaurants, bars, etc. We?re basically on 7th ave which is a lot of shopping and food. Two Avenues up is Prospect park (and we?re very close to the coveted dog swimming pond?). Utilities usually come to between $50-60 per person each month and include gas, electric & internet.

~*~Requirements: be prepared to have first month?s rent w/ security, along with a $100 credit check required by our management company. Lease is for one year. Living Room and kitchen are entirely furnished (so no need for additional furniture for the most part)

~*~ Attached photo is of your possible future bedroom/bathroom as well as common spaces. -Message for more info-
