My roommate and I are looking for a new third roommate for our three-bedroom Atlantic Ave. apartment. Boerum Hill is a fantastic neighborhood filled with creative boutiques, wonderful restaurants/bars, great movie theaters, and convenient stores (two Targets, two Trader Joe?s, Dekalb Market, the new Whole Foods 365, the Apple Store, and many more).

Our apartment is adjacent to a vast number of trains--the 2,3,4,5, B,D, Q,N, and R lines are all right down the block from our place, the A/C/G are a 5 minute walk, and the F is a 10 minute walk. We both commute to the city for work, and have our choice of lines every morning. We're also on the border of Fort Greene and Park Slope, so lots to explore.

Our prewar railroad-style unit was renovated right before we moved in; all finishes are new. The available master bedroom is spacious (15' x 15'!) and sunny. It features two large southern windows with deep ledges that double as shelves/plant space, as well a built-in closet with upper cabinets. The room is large enough to accommodate lots of furniture and storage; you can easily fit a second clothing rack, a sofa, a desk, a dresser, plants, and even your bike!

We share a central living/dining area and divide utilities (internet, gas, and power) and cleaning responsibilities (vacuuming, mopping, bathroom scrubbing) equally. Heat and hot water are included.

The kitchen area is very petite and difficult to air out, so we'd strongly prefer a roomie who doesn?t cook (boiling pasta is fine ????).

My roommate and I are both friendly, neat, clean, and respectful of one another's time and things. We're in our 20s/30s and don't bring the party home. We have a few pragmatic house rules that help keep our apartment pleasant for everyone, and we pride ourselves on peaceful co-living. If you're a similarly friendly, responsible, mature, thoughtful, and neat lady or fella, then you've found your new home!
