Large Furnished Bedroom in Bensonhurst

Hi, I’m looking to sublet a large room in Bensonhurst in a 3 bedroom apartment. The room is available starting August 1st.

The room is quite spacious and has a south-facing window towards the street. The room is quite secluded from the other bedrooms in the apartment, but does share a wall with the living room. It comes fully furnished with a queen-sized bed, a desk, and two small dressers. The rest of the apartment is also furnished, including a fully stocked kitchen. Shared spaces include the kitchen and living room. There is one bathroom in the apartment.

Rent & Utilities:
Rent: $850 per month
Security deposit: One month's rent
Internet: $30 per month
Electricity: Split among roommates (cost varies)
Gas and water: Included in rent

I am currently living in South Korea, so you will be sharing the apartment with Michael (M) and Many(F); both are very friendly. I still handle communicating with the landlord, but Many is there if there are any emergencies.

The apartment is in a great spot—just an 8-minute walk to the N train and a 12-minute walk to the D train. There are plenty of stores nearby, including a Target about 8 minutes away, and most major banks are within walking distance. Laundry is conveniently located just a minute away.

Bensonhurst is a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with lots of parks and really good Chinese restaurants. It feels like a very communal area, and that’s one of my favorite parts of living here.

We’re ideally looking for a man or woman in their mid-to-late twenties to sublet, but we’re an LGBTQ+-friendly household. There is no sublease, so the room is month-to-month. However, a minimum of one month's notice needs to be given before moving out. Ideally, we are looking for someone long-term who wants to stay for a minimum of a year. Guests are welcome, but consideration for the other roommates is important.
