Large Furnished Room in Bensonhurst -1 yr sublease

Hi, I’m looking to sublet my large room in Bensonhurst in a 3 bedroom apartment for a minimum term of one year while I move to South Korea. The room is available now, and the lease is non-flexible.

The room is spacious, with an additional attached room that includes a closet. Both rooms are quite secluded from the rest of the apartment by a half flight of stairs. It comes fully furnished with a full-sized bed, TV stand, TV, desk, standing AC unit, and even a piano. All of my personal belongings will be boxed up and packed away so only the furniture will be staying. The rest of the apartment is also furnished, including a fully stocked kitchen. Shared spaces include the kitchen and living room. There is one bathroom in the apartment

Rent & Utilities:
Rent: $1000 per month
Security deposit: One month's rent
Internet: $30 per month
Electricity: Split among roommates (cost varies)
Gas and water: Included in rent

You’ll be sharing the apartment with Michael (M) and Many (F), both chill and respectful roommates who tend to keep to themselves. Alex will handle most communications with the landlord in my absence.
The apartment is in a great spot—just an 8-minute walk to the N train and a 12-minute walk to the D train. There are plenty of stores nearby, including a Target about 8 minutes away, and most major banks are within walking distance. Laundry is conveniently located just a minute away.

Bensonhurst is a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with lots of parks and really good Chinese restaurants. It feels like a very communal area, and that’s one of my favorite parts of living here.

We’re looking for a man or woman in their mid-to-late twenties to sublet, but we’re an LGBTQ+-friendly household. You’ll need to sign a sublease with the landlord, and while guests are welcome, consideration for the other roommates is important. We keep shared spaces tidy, though there’s no strict cleaning schedule.
