Two Rooms For Rent In Bed-Stuy

Hello There:) I am looking for two new roommates to hop on a lease with us which has already been signed for the new period that started in June and will end in June 2027. It is a 4 bedroom and 2bathroom household and move in date is preferable for the beginning of September 2026. It will be awesome to chat first via video call to determine compatibility and then viewings can be set up. This is not a space for couples.

Credit check. Guarantors are accepted and will also need to go through a credit

About the rooms: both rooms have no AC, great closet space, room for a queen size bed, desk and small drawer.
About The Area
It’s pretty chill here. Gym, walgreens, grocery stores, dollar store and more are about 10 minute walks away.

Transportation
10 minute walk to G and J/M trains. Takes me about 35 min to get to Manhattan. 11 minutes to carroll gardens and about the same to get to Greenpoint.
6-8 min walk to B43/B15/B54 buses.

About The Apartment
The apartment comes with a washer/dryer which is tremendously helpful (Goodbye laundromats). We each have a shelf in the fridge and get a cupboard for groceries. Other appliances are shared. There is a closet in the hallway to store some stuff but it's not that big.
We have a nice spacious living room and a newly renovated kitchen. We are also on the top floor so we never have noise coming from above.

Utilities split 4 ways- Wifi 120. Coned 180 to 400 depending on how much we use and National Grid around 160- 180 We also split kitchen basics like dishwashing liquid etc.

About me, I am 31 years old, used to be a lawyer but I resigned to pursue a career in film and now I am writing a book so the fourth room is used as my study but I have to let it go! I keep to myself and am really considerate of noise especially at night. I would like to keep our home cosy, good energy, an environment where we can be productive and still have a balance for fun. I am a morning person and need a good peaceful environment at night. I don’t bring any parties home but I might have a friend or two over for dinner now and then.

It’s really important to us that we find someone who is mindful, kind, drama free, good communicator, honest, and considerate of noise and cleanliness. I emphasize on cleanliness. If you are not good at cleaning up after yourself and keeping a neat and clutter free space. This definitely isn’t the place for you! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
