26M seeking roommate Bed-Stuy (2B2fullB) 1700/mo

Hi, I'm Charlie (26M) looking for a roommate (M/F) to sublet the other room in my apartment for a Oct 1 move in ($1700/mo). The building is central with a less than 5 minute walk to the Flushing Ave J/M stop and less than 10 to Myrtle-Broadway. The apartment is well furnished with a gas stove, oven and dishwasher. It's 2 bed 2 full bath, so we each get a bathroom to ourselves. Bedroom has a closet space, large window and a heater.

The building has 4 sets of washer-dryers in the basement that are well maintained and efficient, a large service elevator that makes moving easy as well as roof access with a space to gather and great view of Manhattan skyline. I have been living in the apartment for four years now with largely no maintenance issues and no bugs. The building is managed by a property group and the super is available and responsive to service requests.

We don't pay for hot water but do pay for gas and electric. Heat is electric so electric bill tends to be high in the winter. I have a fairly strong wifi already set up but may not be strong enough for wfh.

I work in hospitality so I am out of the apartment at least 4 nights a week. I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and maintain the apartment well. Ideally, looking for someone with a similar lifestyle. No pets and no smoking in the apartment preferred, easy to get onto the roof for a smoke.

Looking for a roommate to move in on October 1 with at least a 6 month commitment and 1700 dollar security deposit upon move in.
