Hi! I'm subletting my furnished room while I'm away and am looking for someone clean, respectful, and easygoing who will enjoy this peaceful home.

About the room
The room is a bright corner bedroom with three large windows, high ceilings, and beautiful natural light throughout the day. It comes furnished with a full-size bed, clothing rack, shelving, and a fan. The apartment has Central AC, and all utilities and Wi-Fi are included.
One thing the photos don't fully capture is how open and bright the room feels in person.
Please note that the closet isn't available because it contains my personal belongings.

About the apartment
This is a quiet shared home with five residents total.
You'll only share the main floor with two other people. Two housemates live in the basement and have their own private entrance, so you rarely see them. The other upstairs roommate works long hours and doesn't use the kitchen, so the shared areas are usually very quiet.
The apartment has:

1 shared shower
Large eat-in kitchen with a dining table
Microwave, gas stove, oven, air fryer, cookware, dishes, and kitchen essentials

Secure keypad entry
Package delivery available
We keep the apartment clean and respectful.
No parties.
Smoking is outside only.
Pets: A friendly small dog and two friendly cats already live here. Unfortunately, we can't accept additional pets.
Neighborhood
One of my favorite things about living here is the location.
Everything you need is within walking distance:
About an 8-minute walk to the C train
Laundromat directly across the street
Citi Bike station on the corner
Grocery store nearby
Library, post office, and police precinct nearby
Herbert Von King Park
Public outdoor pool
YMCA, Planet Fitness, and several other gyms and yoga studios
Great cafés, bakeries, restaurants, vintage shops, and local businesses

It's a great neighborhood if you enjoy walking, coffee shops, parks, and a relaxed community feel while still having easy access to Manhattan.

Viewings
My roommate can show you the apartment either by live video tour or in person.

I had to leave New York unexpectedly because of a family emergency, so I wasn't able to take as many photos as I wanted.
The room is much nicer in person than the photos suggest.
