Huge Private Room + Bath in Brooklyn

I’m helping find someone to take over my current room in a spacious multi-level Brooklyn apartment. My girlfriend and I have lived in this room for the past 5 years, so I can honestly say it’s been a great space. We’re only leaving because we’re ready to get our own place.

Available July 1, with possible flexibility for a mid-June move-in. The setup would begin as a sublet through July, with the goal of joining the lease starting August 1.

The room is very large, more like a private suite than a typical NYC bedroom. It comfortably fits a queen bed, couch, coffee table, dresser, TV setup, and more. It also has an attached private bathroom and two large closets.

The apartment has a big shared living room, full kitchen, and two current roommates who will be staying after I move out. They have their own rooms upstairs and share a separate bathroom, so this room has a lot of privacy compared to a standard apartment share.

Location is super convenient: about a 5–7 minute walk to the Myrtle-Willoughby G train stop, with Lincoln Market right at the end of the street for groceries.

Rent is $1,925/month through July. Starting August 1, the total apartment rent is expected to increase, so the room’s rent may go up slightly depending on the new lease split.

Bonus: the room also comes with access to a separate private creative workspace/office, currently set up as a music studio. Great for someone who wants extra room to work, create, or have a separate setup outside the bedroom.
