Roommate Wanted: Great Apartment, Chill Vibes
The Numbers (because we’re adults):
Rent: $1150/month
Deposit: $1150
Utilities: Not included (electric, gas/heat, internet)
→ Heads up: winter *will* test your character. Last one was brutal.

**The Apartment:**
2 bed / 2 bath aka a rare NYC unicorn.
I’ve got my own bathroom, so the hallway bathroom is basically yours. Call it your personal spa, throne room, or emotional support bathroom.
The room currently has a full-size bed and fits it comfortably, but you could upgrade to a queen if you don’t mind things feeling a little cozier. There’s also a closet and space for a dresser, bookshelf, desk. Whatever your personality requires.
Don’t want the bed? No problem! I’ll break it down and stash it like it never existed.
Laundry is coin-op in the basement, plus a laundromat around the corner for when you ignore laundry for too long and suddenly own 14 loads.
---
**House Note:**
There are two cats here already, so no additional pets please. They’re chill, low-maintenance, and will absolutely decide whether you pass the vibe check before I do.
---
**About Me:**
38, male. Work 5 days a week (mostly daytime), so the place is pretty chill during the week.
I like being social, but I’m not trying to turn the apartment into a nightclub. I’d rather go out, have a good time, and come back to a peaceful home. However, nothing is for certain and life happens!
Into DJ shows, live music, working out, and staying active.
I cook a decent amount (you may benefit from this), but I’m also always down to explore new food spots (equal opportunity snacker).
---
**Who I’m Looking For:**
Pretty simple:
* Chill human
* Down to hang occasionally, but also enjoys their own space
* Tidy-ish (we’re not running a museum, but let’s not let dishes develop personalities)
* Respectful of sleep schedules, but not someone who panics at normal living noise
* Pays rent and utilities on time (truly the hottest trait)
Long-term preferred, with the option to re-sign in October.
Landlords are super chill, and rent increases have been minimal over the years (like $50–$100 total… yes, this is real life).
---
**The Neighborhood:**
Edge of Bed-Stuy. Solid transit options: A/C at Utica, B46/B46 SBS, B25, plus easy access to the 2/3/4/5.
Gym nearby if you’re into that—always down for a workout buddy or mutual accountability (or mutual avoidance).
Plenty of grocery options, including Food Bazaar. I also do a Costco Instacart run every ~6 weeks—happy to loop you in so we can both pretend we needed 40 granola bars.
Good mix of bars and restaurants nearby. There’s a dive bar I’m into and a new Mexican spot around the corner I’ve been meaning to try—could be a bonding moment, could be a regret, who knows.
---
**Next Steps:**
If this sounds like your vibe, hit me up with a little about yourself.
If it feels like a good match, we can set up a walkthrough so you can check out the space and make sure everything feels right on both sides. No pressure—just a real-life vibe check.
If you made it this far, we’ll probably get along.
