We’re looking for a third roommate to take over a room in our Bed-Stuy apartment near the Bedford–Nostrand G (5-min walk) and the Nostrand A/C (12-min walk).
The Apartment:
    •    3 bed / 3 bath — each roommate has their own private bathroom 🙌
    •    In-unit washer & dryer
    •    Large living room and kitchen with dishwasher
    •    Wall-mounted A/C units in every room with individual temperature control
The Room:
    •    Currently furnished (can be removed if preferred)
    •    Cozy, quiet, and gets great natural light
    •    Faces away from the street, so it’s super peaceful
Cost:
    •    Rent: $1,466.67/month
    •    Security deposit: $1,066
    •    Electricity & internet split three ways (~$125/month per person)
About Us:
Hi, my name is Amen (27, she/her). I’m in my final semester of grad school. I love crafting, reading, traveling, and trying new things.
Hi, my name is Madison (28, she/her). I’m a 2nd-year Clinical Psychology PhD student. I love going to Pilates and trying out new local coffee shops.
We’re responsible, clean, considerate, and easy to live with. We like a good balance of being social and having chill nights in. Since we’re both students, we’re mindful of each other’s study time and really value a peaceful, low-stress home environment.
A few important notes:
    •    Due to the nature of my (Madison) clinical work, I occasionally see clients from home via telehealth. I’ll alwayTelehealth weekly schedule in advance, but during those times we ask that the living room isn’t used or passed through to maintain privacy (HIPAA considerations).
    •    We’re ideally looking for another student or someone with a similar schedule/lifestyle.
    •    Women and LGBTQIA+ friendly
    •    This is a calm, quiet home — probably not the best fit for someone working from home full-time in shared spaces.
