**URGENT - LOOKING FOR MALE ROOMMATES - 3 Bedrooms Available in 4BR/3BA Brownstone – Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn – April 1 Move-In!

(6-month commitment required, with option to renew if it’s a good fit; must make 40x your portion of rent and be able to pay first month's rent + a security deposit equal to your portion of rent upon move-in)

My name is Cindy, and my fiancé Justin and I are looking for three roommates to join our brownstone apartment in Bed-Stuy starting April 1. Our current lease runs through September 30, 2026, so new roommates would need to commit through the end of the lease.

We’re 36 and 39 and would ideally like to live with others in a similar stage of life (roughly late 20s and up). We’re hoping to find people who are kind, communicative, respectful, easy going, and comfortable sharing space thoughtfully.

I’m a children’s book editor, and Justin is a commercial photographer. We met at church and have been living here together since last November. We value warmth, creativity, and clear communication in a home. In a five-person household, we’ve learned that monthly roommate check-ins and open dialogue help things run smoothly, so we’re looking for roommates who feel comfortable having regular conversations about what’s working and what may need adjusting, together.

Justin loves cooking, so we'd love occasional shared dinners or movie nights with roommates, while also respecting everyone’s schedules. We may occasionally host friends and/or have overnight guests, and are totally fine with our roommates doing the same—with advance notice. Ultimately, we’re hoping to find people who want to be intentional about sharing communal space in a way that feels good for everyone.

• Ground floor bedroom with private bath – $1,350 + utilities - MALE ONLY
• Upstairs bedroom with shared bath – $1,300 + utilities
• Upstairs bedroom with shared bath – $1,300 + utilities

(For the shared bathroom upstairs, we’re ideally looking for roommates of the same gender. Strong preference given to two male roommates, but open to females if right fit!)

No smoking, drugs, pets, or couples, please.

If you’re interested in renting two rooms (for example, using one as a private office), we’re open to discussing adjusted rent splits for a four-person setup (ie. $1,450 for 1 bedroom and private bath + $1,000 for a private office = $2,450/month). All 3 rooms are a very similar size and would comfortably fit a full-size bed and small desk.

If our apartment sounds like a potential fit, the next step would be a casual video call with Justin and me to get to know each other and answer questions.
