The Room/Building:

Nothing glamorous, but by far the most comfortable place I've lived in NYC.

Fits a full bed comfortably. Fits a twin even more comfortably.

Nice street view. This beautiful tree blocks the window in the summertime, so it doesn't get too hot. Also not too much noise gets through the window.

Probably the most power outlets I've seen in a bedroom in NYC....ever, including one near the ceiling (???)

Big enough to feel like you have space, small enough to clean in 10 minutes.

The room isn't located next to anyone else's. That bit of extra privacy has been really nice.

The building has basement storage for tenants. There are also only 3 apartments in the building total. The building has a fence.

My favorite part: the building is full of millennial/gen z tenants that are all extremely friendly. Nearly all of us are artists or really into art in some capacity.
