Room for Rent in Bed-Stuy – 6-10-Month Sublet

I’m moving in with my best boyfriend, so my room in Bed-Stuy (on the Clinton Hill/Crown Heights border) is available for a 10-month sublet (flexible term) through the end of 2025.

The Room:
• Fits a double bed and a small desk (a twin would give you more floor space)
• Gets great natural light
• Comes with a wall AC/heat unit that works well
• Has a closet with extra storage above and inside the old fireplace
• Can come furnished (for a small additional fee) with an adjustable bed frame (twin → full → king), but only a twin or double mattress will fit in the room. You’ll need to bring your own mattress, if you choose to keep the frame.

The Apartment:
• 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms
• Large living area
• Roof access with an amazing view
• Washer and dryer in the basement (dryers aren’t great, but there’s a laundromat around the corner)
• Friendly cat lives here

The Vibe:
• LGBTQ-friendly
• Roommates are all creatives in their early 30s (2 M, 1 W)
• 4th-floor walk-up

The Logistics:
• Right off the A/C trains at Franklin or Nostrand, easy access to JFK
• $974/month (includes WiFi) + $30-50 for utilities depending on electricity use
• Move-in September 1
