Sunny Spacious Room in Bed-Stuy

Hi there! We are two Brooklyn girls looking for a long-term (10 months) subletter. We have a medium sized room available within a 3 bedroom apartment. First and security deposit required at time of signing, utilities are not included.

Here are some of the basic facts:
-modern-ish building, 3-blocks from Herbert Von King park
-bedroom fits a queen, desk, and bookshelf comfortably, plus two closets
-apartment has large windows with lots of natural light
-Built-in ac/heating units in every room
-two elevators, secure package closet + amazon lockers in the lobby
-two communal rooftops
-laundry in building
-private gym access (included in rent price)
-option to rent storage units in the basement + parking (through the landlord, not guaranteed)
-trash chute/recycling rooms on every floor
-utilities do add up, $100-200 a month per person
-no bike storage available
-building residents are mostly families and established professionals, quiet and respectful is a must

About us/lifestyle:
-we have two cats, please be VERY comfortable with cats (this is a dealbreaker), the cats are super friendly and will beg for pets, cuddles, and attention. You can keep them out of your room but they will be in the communal spaces. (Generally not allowed on counter tops/kitchen)
-we are working professionals with consistent schedules
-we value privacy and a safe, quiet environment so we prefer that visitors be very limited
-we go to bed early/wake up early, there’s usually no noise between 10pm-6am
-we are close friends and spend most of our time in the communal space so we would love someone who we could befriend
-communal space is fully furnished (couch, tv, etc.)
-we cook a lot so the kitchen is also fully equipped, no dishwasher tho
-kitchen space is divided so everyone has room, this can be arranged based on lifestyle
-we clean up after ourselves and keep a turn based schedule for communal areas
-no smoking of any kind inside the apartment/building
-we have lived in Brooklyn for 10 years, in this building for 6 years and we love this place/neighborhood :)
