Lease takeover starting 4/1 in bedstuy

Looking for a drama free, mindful, full-time employed outside of the home roommate to be part of a harmonious living environment in our cozy 4bd/2bath sanctuary!

We're social late 20's-early 40's folks that rarely have guests over, and prefer the party to be kept outside of the home (no 5th roommates or frequent overnight guests). We have our own lives outside of the apt, but when schedules align we typically catch up over dinner and tv or we're just chillin solo. We're spiritual, into health & wellness, crafty types and want our home to be a place of respite from the chaos of living in the city.

Room available for $975 (rent will increase for july 1st) measures about 12x8 fitting a full/queen sized bed, night stand, and dresser, has closet and a north facing window away from busy street and shares a bathroom with early mid 30's M & late 20's F who is barely home.

We're looking for someone who: is mature, has the habit of locking the apt door when leaving and entering the home and ensuring stove and oven are turned off after use (NON-NEGOTIABLE), doesn't slam doors/cabinets, is considerate of common space and shared items, is mindful of utility usage, has a day-time schedule, takes initiative to purchase communal items and clean communal spaces (we don't want to have to tell someone to clean we're adults), is tidy (cannot stress this enough, keep your room as you like, but please don't leave crumbs and spills everywhere), is employed full-time outside of the home. Sorry but no pets, no couples.

Utilities range from $50-$80/month depending on season and due middle of each month. The apt is a 4bd/2bath in bedstuy BK off the Myrtle-Willoughby G train and 10-15 min walk from Flushing or Myrtle Ave JM trains, and 15 min bus ride on B38 to Pratt. Located next to a community garden, 2 blocks away from 2 laundromats, 3 grocery stores, coffee, wine shop. Also within walking distance to a few restaurants and bars!

Need to pass credit check (high 600's+), provide proof of income and pay first/security deposit. Sign lease takeover from April-June 2026 for $975 then rent increases for lease renewal from July1st- June 2027. Guarantors accepted
