Great room in huge apartment in Bed Stuy

We (a thirty something working in beer and a twenty something working in tv) are looking to fill our third room IMMEDIATELY.

The room is south facing so it gets lots of sun. It faces the street as well, but our block is relatively quiet - lots of families. It has a large closet in addition to the other large linen and coat closets in the apartment.

The room is currently furnished, but we can remove whatever you don't want to keep. It comfortably fits a queen/king size bed, bookshelf or dresser and a desk.

About the rest of the apartment/building: large and open kitchen/dining/living room space: Attentive and helpful landlord. Only one other tenant in the building (except the landlord). One of the best perks: free washer/dryer in the basement (also welcome to store bulkier items there as well).

Once things start getting back to normal, the neighborhood is a really wonderful place. Tons of coffee shops and bars and restaurants close by and easy to get to ones further afield. We're off the Bedford-Nostrand G and the Nostrand Ave A/C in addition to multiple cross-town buses and the Prospect Park Shuttle train. Citibike stations are everywhere. Von King Park is just a few blocks away, but Prospect Park isn't too far either.

Requirements: must be willing to sign a sublease for one year starting on 8/1/20. We need a security deposit equal to the monthly rent of $915.

Given the circumstances, for your safety and ours, we will plan on facetiming with those who are serious about the room. We will answer any questions and show you anything you want to give you the best idea of the room.

As an aside, one of the roommates has been living in this apartment for nearly 5 years. Any problems (of which there have been few) with the apartment have been fixed immediately by the landlord.
