Hello all! Looking for a female roommate.

I have a gigantic room available as of September 1st-15th in the Riverdale/Kingsbridge section of the Bronx.

Great for outdoor enthusiasts. I run and cycle often in Van Cortland Park and the greater Westchester area.

I grew up in lower Manhattan but really love this neighborhood and lived here while attending Columbia (class of 2018).

Basic apartment details are as follows:

Short 15 minute walk or 5min bus ride to either the 1 or 4 train. This means you can get to either the East or West sides of Manhattan easily.

Great shops near by:
BJs = 5 minute walk
Stop & Shop (open late) = 10 minute walk
Staples = 10 minute walk
Gourmet Market = 10 minute walk
Bronx Ale House = 5 minute walk
Aldi 15 = minute walk

Manhattan College = 15/20 minute walk
Columbia University (Morningside campus) = 30 minute by train

The apartment faces west and is well lit throughout the day. Plus really great sunsets.

The room measures 12x24ft

It is an elevator building with laundry in the basement. Building and neighborhood is super safe and friendly. We know each other and look out for each other. The super is wonderful. We have a mail room to keep packages safe.

There is an other really beautiful park with a playground and a nice view of the reservoir at the end of the block.

Traditionally I've rented to Columbia University/Manhattan College students and professionals..

I'm looking for someone who uses this place as a safe, clean, sanctuary.

No partying or smokers, please.

WiFi and utilities included.

Use of AC extra based on electric bill.
