Looking for a responsible, grounded individual to join a quiet, creative household in a beautifully preserved 1901 brownstone. The house is located in the West Bronx, just one block away from Bronx Community College.

This is a spacious duplex unit that maintains much of its original 20th-century character. Because it’s an older building, we are looking for someone who appreciates (and knows how to live in) a classic home.

Privacy: This is a unique situation—you will likely have the entire apartment to yourself over 50% of the time in the near future.

Outdoor Space: There is both a front and back yard. If you have a green thumb or enjoy gardening, there is plenty of room to dig in.

Note on Renovations: We are currently doing some light renovations to keep the home in top shape. We’re looking for someone who is easygoing and won’t mind a bit of "work in progress" every now and then.

The Ideal Housemate
We are seeking someone who is clean, quiet, and personable. This is a low-drama environment; if you consider yourself "high maintenance," this likely won't be the right fit.

Professionals/Creatives: Extra points if you are a craftsperson, engineer, or artist.

Quiet & Focused: One resident works from home in a technical professional capacity and is on calls throughout the day. Strict quiet hours during the work week are a must.

Potential Extra Space: A small additional bedroom or workspace may be available for rent if you need a dedicated studio, office, or extra storage. Perfect for someone with a side project or a remote setup that requires a bit more footprint.
