14th floor room for rent in shared apartment

This is bright and spacious room in a quiet 14th floor shared apartment located in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx.

The apartment is shared with 1 married couple.
Just a little about us. We are in our early 40’s, Latino and Caribbean blend working class couple. We love music, dancing, gaming, anime, marvel movies and true crime stories. We cook often (about 4-5 times weekly). Very clean and creative. Colorful souls and family oriented. We are also foster parents. So any potential roommates WILL be subject to a statewide central background check.

Very private and furnished with queen bed, dresser, side table, vanity table, a two door mini fridge, 40 inch tv, laundry basket. A/C unit and ample closet space. There is some linens provided as well. There is 1.5 bath and shared common areas - kitchen, dining room area, living room area.

This is a non smoking home. That’s mandatory for us. We understand the need for quiet and peaceful spaces, especially after a long shift. There is a mini shopping center right across the bridge from us. And lots of public transportation around. Nearest us are the Bx 4, 5, 7, 8, 21, 24, 25, 27. The Morrison station is a couple blocks away and the Simpson Ave is close too.

If the room is occupied by a couple or parent and child, the rent does increase by $50 weekly.
There is laundry in the building. Street parking only.
Verizon WiFi, electricity, gas, heat, water all included in rent.
