Seeking a quiet, responsible and clean person to share a one bedroom apartment on a tree lined street, first floor near Pelham Parkway and Wallace Avenue in the greenest borough, The Bronx. My ideal roommate is someone who respects the others space and privacy and is ideally on a different schedule. The room is large, sunny, private and partially furnished: sofa and a closet. There’s room for additional furniture like a bed and a dresser.

Gas, electric and Wi Fi is included, laundry is in the basement or there's a laundromat 1/2 a block away. Ideal for someone who works M-F since I'm near two train lines, the 2 and 5. I'd prefer first and last month's rent to move in, but I'm open to negotiation.

The building has a lovely courtyard, 8 steps to the front door. The room faces east, lots of natural light from 3 windows and has a door for privacy. We'd share the bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is 1/2 block from grocery, bodegas, schools, Aldi via the Bx39, fast food and laundromats. East of the Bronx Zoo, New York Botanical Gardens, Arthur Avenue and Fordham University. 1 block away from beautiful Pelham Parkway. Neighborhood is safe. Accessible parking on the street. Near the Bxm11 Express Bus. Accessible to the D, 4, 1, A and 6 trains via five different bus routes.

The first month will be a trial period to see if we're a good fit. If so, you start paying as usual the second month, via Paypal, Venmo or Zelle, whatever works, last month you don't pay. I'll have an agreement drawn up.

I'm a former classical ballet dancer, I work Thursday-Sunday, I will be traveling on and off. I mostly keep to myself, but I'm not anti social. I maintain to keep a clean home like a sanctuary, tidy and serene. Thank you.
