Spacious, furnished, affordable bedroom in my friendly apartment set in a great location in the Bronx. The rent is $950 and gas, electricity, Wi-Fi Internet access are included (electricity usage for air conditioner and space heater is extra) (see below).

Female preferred. 30-year-old + working female professional preferred.

No couples, children or pets. No smoking. No exceptions.

The room is large and is furnished with a full-size bed, dresser and air conditioner.

Shared bathroom and kitchen.
Washing machine and dryer are in the apartment.

Apartment is located across the street from the B/D Train Station (174th -175th Street Station) and 3-4 blocks away from the #4 Train Mt. Eden Train Station.

Spanish restaurants, African grocery stores, 4 supermarkets and several bodegas within walking distance of the apartment building. There is also a park, hospital, library, Planet Fitness and local community center that has a swimming pool nearby. All are within a short walking distance from the apartment.

I am looking for someone who is mature, clean, respectful and will not bring frequent overnight guests. This is a peaceful and tranquil home where each roommate lives his or her own separate life.

Requirements:

-$950/month, utilities included. However, must pay extra utilities during summer months if using the air conditioner and during winter months if using a space heater (about $50-$75 for conservative usage).

- Proof of income required in the form of employment payment stubs for most recent two months to demonstrate ability to pay rent on time.

- $600 security deposit.

- $1,550 ($600 security deposit + 1st month’s rent) to move in.

- Future rent will be due by the 1st of every month regardless of move-in date.

- Minimum six-month to one-year lease required. No short term rentals or less than six months.
