A native New Yorker born and raised in Manhattan but now reside in the Bronx for the past 30 years. My lifestyle continues to commute to Manhattan while also enjoying my green community.

About the Home:
Owner (me) lives on site. Calm, respectful environment with lots of privacy. I garden, keep hens and have a beekeeper that does the bees in the garden. I travel throughout the year off and on. Friendly but not a party house. Peaceful home.

Current roommates are myself and another female (separate rooms). I'm the gardener and my roommate is a speech therapist who works with the DOE and loves Broadway shows.
Looking For:
Clean, respectful, financially stable renter.
Our roommates for this tiny room has been students, or roommates making a move to NYC, or in-between apartments, or life changes where it's a new chapter for that person.
No smoking. No drugs.

There are many places out there that are simply rooms for rent. Our home is a bit different. When you walk in, it feels like a place you look forward to come back to rest from the day. There’s often a sweetness in the air — at least that’s how we tend to feel about it.
