🏠 A LITTLE ABOUT THE HOME
I’m Muslim, and keeping my home clean, peaceful, and comfortable is very important to me. I remove my shoes when I come inside and make an effort to keep the home clean and purified so we can comfortably sit, relax, eat, and also use the living room for prayer. That’s why the no-shoes, no-smoking, and cleanliness rules are very important to me. I simply want to maintain a clean, peaceful, and respectful home. I also want to be upfront about the shared living environment. When I’m home, I spend a lot of time in the living room, and I enjoy cooking 3–4 times a week. I mostly eat homemade food, so I regularly use the kitchen.
My current roommate has been an amazing roommate for almost two years. She originally moved from Chicago to Arizona and has been living here with me since then. She is now getting her own place, which is why the room is becoming available. We’ve had a great living arrangement, and I would love to find someone who can continue that same respectful and comfortable environment.

👤 SINGLE OCCUPANCY ONLY
The room is for one person only.
This is a private bedroom in a shared apartment and is not available for couples or two people sharing the room. No additional occupant or roommate may move in or regularly stay in the room without prior written agreement.

🐾 NO PETS
No pets of any kind are allowed.
This includes dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, fish, or any other animals. Please do not inquire if you are looking to bring or keep a pet in the apartment.

🍳 SHARED LIVING SPACE
The living room and kitchen are shared. Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves after using the kitchen or any shared space. Please wash your dishes, clean the counters and stove, and leave the kitchen ready for the next person. Cleanliness is not optional. I want the apartment to remain a place where both people feel comfortable and at home.

🚫 IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES
NO SMOKING OR VAPING — ANYWHERE INSIDE THE HOME.
This includes:

🚭 Cigarettes
🚭 Marijuana/weed
🚭 Vapes/e-cigarettes
🚭 Any other type of smoking or vaping
There is no smoking or vaping in the bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, or any other indoor area.
I personally do not smoke or drink, and I prefer someone who also does not use drugs or alcohol.

👟 NO OUTSIDE SHOES INSIDE THE HOME.
Shoes must be removed when entering the apartment. Keeping outside shoes out of the home helps us maintain the clean environment that is important to me and allows us to comfortably sit and pray in the living space.

🐾 NO PETS OF ANY KIND.
No animals or pets are permitted in the apartment, including visiting or temporary pets.

👤 SINGLE OCCUPANCY ONLY.
The rented bedroom is intended for one individual only. This is not a room for two people to share, and couples are not being considered for this room.
These house rules are important to maintaining the home environment and are non-negotiable. Any violation will be handled according to the rental agreement and applicable Arizona law.

💰 RENT — $1,500/MONTH

$1,500/month includes:
