I’m offering a private, unfurnished bedroom with your own bathroom in a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bath + den, 1,400 sq. ft. home in a quiet, desirable neighborhood in East Mesa, right on the Gilbert border.

The bedroom is located in the home’s split floor plan, giving you a nice sense of privacy and separation from the main living areas. It is conveniently located next to a bathroom that would essentially be your private bathroom. I could see an occasional guest using it since it’s closer to the common areas than the master bathroom, but otherwise it would not be shared.

The bedroom comfortably fits a queen-size bed and has a large closet for plenty of storage.

The rest of the home is fully furnished and includes:

Indoor laundry room
Shared living room and kitchen
Backyard and cozy patio areas
Wi-Fi included
Unlimited access to multiple streaming services on the living room TV
Driveway parking space, depending on vehicle size

The home is located in a gated community with a pool and hot tub and has easy access to the 202 and 60 freeways. Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment are just a short drive away, including Superstition Springs, Signal Butte, and SanTan Village.

The entire home is furnished except for the bedroom available for rent.

🐶 About the Home & Me

I’m a 38-year-old female who works as a community social worker. I work from home a couple of days a week in the office/den, but I’m generally pretty social and enjoy being out of the house in the evenings and on weekends.

I’m respectful, kind, considerate, and responsible, and I’m looking for someone who values a comfortable, peaceful, and respectful home environment.

I have two dogs who are very much part of the family:

A sweet 10-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix
A lovable 6-year-old Shepherd mix

Both are big love bugs, so you definitely need to be comfortable around dogs. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate additional dogs or cats. Other pets, such as fish or reptiles, may be negotiable.

👩‍🦰 Who I’m Looking For

I’m looking for a female, non-smoking roommate who is responsible and at least reasonably tidy. I’m not expecting perfection, but I would like someone who cleans up after themselves, doesn't leave food or dishes sitting around, and is considerate of shared spaces.

For everyone's safety and peace of mind, prospective roommates will need to:

Pass a background check
Pass a credit check
Provide proof of income
Complete the screening process before a rental agreement is finalized
💰 Rent & Lease

$900/month + 50% of utilities
Utilities include electric, water, and gas.

Security deposit: $500

I’d like to start with a month-to-month arrangement so we can make sure we’re a good fit as roommates. If things work well for both of us, there would be the option to transition to a one-year lease.
