Large, quiet, private room near downtown Oakland

Large bedroom available in our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. The move in date is February 1st. We are month to month, looking for someone for 6 months to a year.

The house: The house is two stories. Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom that will be shared (it is not directly connected to the bedrooms, nor do the bedrooms share a wall). Downstairs has a full kitchen, living room, one small bedroom, one full bathroom, washer/dryer, inside space for bikes, and a small sideyard area. If you have a car, there is ample street parking in the neighborhood - perks of not having houses across the street on both sides. We do not hold frequent house meetings (only on need-basis; group text usually works for small things) and we do not have a chore schedule as everyone just cleans up after themselves (within 24 hours seems to be the situation). Clean, quiet and respectful.

The room: This room is located upstairs and is big enough to have a king bed, shelves, drawers, whatever your heart desires. Large closet (not technically walk in but you can hide up to 6 people in it). You would be sharing a full bathroom with tub/shower with one respectful guy in the other upstairs bedroom.

The neighborhood: We are located in a residential area of West Oakland (a corner property with a park on one side and a school on the other with a school kitty-corner). You can walk to 12th street Bart or West Oakland Bart (10-15 minutes). We are also a flat 4 minute bike ride/drive to downtown Oakland, 5-6 minutes to Uptown and Jack London Square, 10 to Grand.

The people: We are a female and male (not a couple!) in our late 20s. We include an event coordinator for an Oakland non-profit (and also PT beertender) and a Physical Therapist in SF. Though we socialize when we cross paths and occasionally climb together, we tend to stay in our rooms when home so if you're looking for a quiet home and sleep, awesome. If you're looking to cook after 10PM or before 9am and bring a party home, this will not work.

Costs: $1200 month/rent.
Utilities: Water, PGE, Wifi $100
Total monthly: $1300 (venmo or check)
Deposit: $1200 (to be returned upon move out)
