Looking for a roommate who loves cats and dogs (but preferably doesn’t have their own). The apartment (900+ sq ft) is a 2BR/1BA in southwest Berkeley, close to great restaurants and shops on San Pablo, walking distance to Berkeley Bowl West, and right by bus lines to Oakland, Richmond, downtown Berkeley, and UC Berkeley. You’d be sharing the space with me (27yo non-binary afab) and my furry crew: a senior Siberian-mix cat, a sweet/playful Husky-GSD mix, and a service-in-training Husky-GSD mix. As long as you’re mindful of the pets and their safety, I’m flexible about most things. Expect some fur, but lint rollers are always handy!
The apartment has a furnished living room (open to changes), a yard, and a lovely shared garden. I’m a bartender, so I’m usually home in the mornings/early afternoons and late at night. I enjoy art, reading, board games, climbing, hiking, and I’m currently learning tattooing. I speak Romanian, Russian, English, and a bit of Spanish.
I’d describe myself as about a 7/10 on cleanliness, open to cooking or grocery runs together, and always happy to chat about house logistics or redecorating. Kindness and authenticity are the big values here. Bonus: you can use my Netflix, Hulu, Max, and Criterion subs.
If you love animals, value a chill and creative home, and want to join in on a cozy space with a yard, this might be a good fit!
