Fully Furnished Room for Rent!

Hello there! We are looking for someone around our age (23ish) ideally a recent grad or working professional, who’s tidy, social, creative, and wants to live in a fun and welcoming household.

A little about us: we’re both pretty creative people with lots of different hobbies.

Hussein: 🍷🪩working in the wine industry as a winemaker, loves cooking, being outdoors, and experimenting with random projects in the kitchen such as brewing beer and various fermentation projects (which you are always welcome to try and help with)
Sasha: 🎨🌀🩵newly contracted teacher who loves dancing, practicing yoga, playing with flow toys (especially silk scarves), making jewelry, scrapbooking, and other crafty/creative things.

Nini: 🐱 queen of the house, bossy, will yell at you for food, she values her personal space
    •    We both have busy schedules, but we still really value hanging out at home—movie nights, creative nights, cooking together, having friends over, or just chilling.
    •    We’d love someone who wants to actually be part of the household and hang out sometimes, not just someone looking for a room to disappear into every night lol.

Location:
🚌 Bus No. 6 is across the street from us. This route will take you directly to downtown Oakland (south) or UCBerkley campus (north from us)

🚊 Bart: 13 minute walk or 4 minute drive to Ashby station

Parking your car: free and usually not a problem! We haven’t had much trouble finding a place on the street

About the space:
Kitchen space: fully stocked with the essentials kitchenware and more

The kitchen, living room, and bathroom are all shared, so being clean is really important to us. We have a weekly cleaning schedule that rotates between everyone, with 2 tasks per person each week. We found this is the best way to split chores. We expect everyone to contribute to keeping the apartment clean.

If you’re not comfortable with a cleaning schedule or don’t think you’ll consistently help with house chores, this probably isn’t the right fit.
