Single room in queer-friendly 2-bed apartment

About the place:
The room is in a two-bedroom apartment with a shared bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The apartment will be shared with one person and one cat. The whole apartment is furnished aside from the bedroom. Wood floors are throughout the apartment except in the kitchen and bathroom. Total square footage in the apartment is around 1,000. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, located in the kitchen. There is not a separate dining space but there is a dining table in the kitchen. There are doors between the kitchen and living room, and the living room and hallway which leads to the rooms and bathroom, allowing for some more privacy and sound buffering as needed. The apartment gets a lot of natural light during the day and has great airflow. Even when it is 90 degrees outside the apartment can stay pretty cool with open windows.
The building is small with one unit next door and one unit above the apartment and all of the neighbors are friendly. A balcony is located outside of the kitchen that is shared with the next door neighbor. There is a little outdoor walkway with some grass and trees downstairs from the patio shared between the two apartment buildings as well. The location is off Alcatraz near Adeline and is pretty convenient for accessing public transit with Ashby bart 0.4 miles away and the 688, 88, 12, and F bus stops within a 5 minute walk. The Adeline farmers market on Tuesdays is one block away with a nice selection of local produce and other goods. Street parking is easy to find, even though it does get a little competitive while the farmers market is going on Tuesdays (2pm-6:30pm).
Rent is $1,050 per month per person (2,100 total) and utilities come out to be around $90-120 per month per person.

Hi! I’m Lauren and I am a recent UC Berkeley Graduate and a barista. I am queer, use they/she pronouns and am a sagittarius sun, virgo moon, capricorn rising (for all my astrology peeps). Some of my simple life joys are good music, cooking, dancing, hiking, reading/discussing queer & feminist theory, and watching tv & being lazy with my cat, Luna. I consider myself very considerate and it is extremely important that I am respecting those in close proximity to me. I would also consider myself fairly tidy and like to keep my living spaces nice through regular cleaning. I am sensitive to most artificial fragrances so I need for my roommate to be willing to accept this and stick to pure plant-derived scents or no fragrances for cleaning and personal products in the house. I have a long-term partner and they will likely be sleeping over a couple times a week and hanging out sometimes.
Luna is the cat of the house and she is a 6 year old tabby/bengal mix (aquarius sun). She is sweet, loving, and cuddly once you get to know her and has a funny, playful, and graceful personality. She loves all of the love from people (but not so much from other animals) and would greatly appreciate it if the person moving in is a cat lover with no pets. She is truly the queen of the house and loves to sit above everyone from her cat tower and for people to toss around her favorite toy for her (champagne wires–lol).
