We have a private room and office available in our sunny 4Br/2Ba apartment, located in residential West Oakland at 8th and Chester! Available September 1st! Rent is $1,180.09/mo. LGBT friendly! 🌈

The available room is about 16’x13’ (208ft²), with 12’ ceilings. The windows in the room are north facing. Will come unfurnished. The room also has a closet. There are also a few options around the house for storage, including a basement for bikes.

There is also a small adjacent room that can be used as an office if you are working from home/hybrid worker! Right now it has a small sofa and desk that can stay if needed.

You would be sharing a bathroom with one other person.

Rent: $1,180.09/mo. PGE varies a bit throughout the year, usually $60/mo/person and internet is ~$20/mo/person. Landlord pays for trash and water. He usually raises rent by CPI (2-3%) each year in August. He requires a $600 security deposit and $1,000 deposit for your last month’s rent, for a total one-time move in amount of $2,780.09.

Lease Period: Month-to-month, but ideally you’re looking to stay for the longer term. You would be taking over our old housemate on our lease.
