I'm looking for someone to take over half of the lease until May 2021 and I'm hoping that will be you. With the fires and smoke, you want a nice place to stay inside. With the pandemic, you want a nice place to be outside. With this place, you have both. The condo is big and feels big. There are tall ceilings and three balconies, so there is plenty of space for the two of us. The condo is just off Main Street. On a Friday night, you can hear the music from downtown on your balcony or you can head down yourself and listen from any of the many restaurants or bars nearby. On Saturday morning, you can walk to Inklings (or Starbucks or Peets), grab your coffee and pastry on your way to get your fresh fruit and veggies from the farmer's market. The weekend or evening is always nice for a picnic in Lions Wayside or Delucchi Parks. Don't forget the fairgrounds, for drive-in movies and concerts, is only a mile away. The Sunday morning brunch selection downtown is particularly plentiful. Baci's is my personal favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of the options just minutes from your door. If the smoke drives you indoors, don't worry, there is air conditioning to keep you cool and the air breathable. If a TV binge is your preference, the living room TV is huge and has Netflix, Hulu, Prime as well as hookups for gaming consoles. If you prefer to work on a project, the dining room table is great to spread out on. If cooking or baking is your jam, I am a seasoned taste tester and will never turn down a slice of banana bread. I hope this sounds like a place you would like to call home. Here are some more details about the place.
Private Spaces
A large bedroom plus private bath and balcony. The bedroom is furnished (but can be unfurnished) with a king sized bed and thick foam mattress, two nightstands, and a dresser but could fit a desk too. There are also built-in storage cabinets by the entrance to the bathroom and a walk-in closet. The bathroom is large and has a shower stall. There is a private covered balcony off of the bedroom as well. There is also a dedicated parking spot in the carport for your use.
Bedroom: 12ft x 13ft.
Closet: 7ft x 5.5ft.
Bathroom: 9.5ft x 6.5ft.
Covered Balcony: 7ft. x 6.5ft.
Shared Spaces
When you first come in the door, there is a small coat closet, little window, and a shelf for shoes. Then it opens into the living space including the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The living room has vaulted ceilings, as this is a top floor (second floor) unit. There is a functional fireplace in the living room. The kitchen has an electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and newer refrigerator. There is a covered balcony off the living room, which as a small closet for outdoor storage. From the living area, the hall splits. To the left is the laundry closet and then your room and space. To the right, is my room and my space. The whole condo is about 1250 square feet with heat and air conditioning throughout.
The Location
This condo is in a small, ten unit, quiet condo complex less than a five minute walk from Main St in Pleasanton. The condo is at the back of the complex, where there is usually plenty of guest parking. Street parking is plentiful if the guest spaces run out. Other points of interest include the farmer?s market (10min walk), the fairgrounds/ACE train (20min walk), and a small grocery store (~5min walk). There is a shopping center across from the complex and two small public parks down the street all within walking distance. There are a few large redwood trees on property and greenspaces by each unit.
Cost
All utilities (water, electric, trash, garbage, really good internet) are included. Bi-weekly maid service is also included. The monthly rent is $1250, utilities are $150 per month, and the deposit is $1250. Each month will cost a total of $1400.
