We are currently looking to fill one room in a stunning, Old World mansion in Oakland's bucolic Glenview neighbourhood.

One private bedroom is available for immediate sublease in the Glen View area of Oakland. We are looking for a mature, employed, and responsible adult who is open-minded, thoughtful, and non-smoking and who appreciate communal living. This charming old house provides a welcoming atmosphere, and we emphasize a commitment to cleanliness and safety as a fundamental requirement.

The room accommodates a full/queen sized bed or a snug full size, with closet.

The house boasts a spacious formal dining room, a grand but cozy living room with fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with separate pantry. It includes three - four bedrooms on the upper level, three full bathrooms, and a laundry room complete with a washer and dryer. There is plenty of storage space, and a stunning tiered garden that backs on to the Sausal Creek Canyon, with hiking trails extending up to Redwoods Regional Preserve. Furthermore, the property features a downstairs rumpus room and a guest bedroom, all nestled in one of Oakland's most charming neighbourhoods.

You will be sharing the home with three men and one woman, who value the diversity of Oakland, having lived in the area for over 20 years. For your application to be considered, an application form, a credit check, an interview, and references may be required. The first month's rent and a security deposit equal to one month's rent will also be necessary. Note that the rent does not include utilities, which typically average around $150 per month per tenant.
