Looking to rent out the first floor of my 1600 sf loft in West Oakland. The unit is part of the Oakland California Towel Factory that was converted into 33 lofts. It's a really beautiful space and a community of wonderful people. I'm a 38F professional who owns the home. I live on the third floor and we would share the main floor (kitchen, dining and living room). There's a good amount of distance between the two bedrooms and they are both fully private. I have a background in design and strategy, and am passionate about art, being out in nature, backpacking and music. I'm a huge fan of mindfulness and meditation and am looking to find someone committed to fostering good energy in their space. Looking to keep a clean and smoke-free house.

Move-in costs are first month's rent ($1900) and deposit ($1900), $3800 total. Utilities/water/trash + Sonic Fiber internet come to ~$100pp per month. Available immediately.

The unit is dog-friendly for the right pup. I'm a huge fan of dogs of all sizes, but would probably do best with one who doesn't shed a crazy amount. Happy to chill with your dog and take them out for walks whenever I'm home.
