Are you looking for a comfortable place to call home? We’re seeking a responsible and tidy female roommate to share our cozy apartment.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD

This apartment is located in Oakland’s quiet but unique Chinatown, seconds away from downtown. Built in a townhome-esque building, there are two bedrooms upstairs in the unit with part of the kitchen converted into a third bedroom for the second roommate. The apartment sits above local businesses, including the famous Bay Area Chinese restaurant Shandong. On the same block are grocers for fresh produce, late night cafes serving full entrees til midnight, the Oakland Public Library’s Asian branch and some blocks away is the Oakland Police Department’s headquarters for a sense of security. Also nearby is the library’s main branch.

This apartment is also conveniently located to two BART stations; 12th Street Oakland Station (5 minute walk) and Lake Merritt (8 minute walk), allowing commuters easy access to both the East Bay and SF and beyond.

There is also a parking garage near the building.

ABOUT THE ROOMMATES

The unit has two roommates looking for its new third. Upstairs is a woman while downstairs is a man (albeit rarely there). Both are working professionals but students are welcome! No one at the unit currently has pets.

The room for lease is the largest bedroom in the unit. IT COMES UNFURNISHED, giving you the opportunity to truly make it your own. The apartment has 1.5 bathrooms, with the full bathroom on the second floor. WiFi is included, utilities are not (average monthly amount around $100~, depending on usage). Beautiful hardwood flooring on the first floor. IN-UNIT WASHER AND DRYER! NO NEED FOR THE LAUNDROMAT!
