1-2 Rooms Open in Classy/Cool Home - Lake Merrit

I’m looking for 1 to 2 housemates to share a SUPER spacious house in a lovely, hillside area by Lake Merrit, with a relaxed, respectful, good-hearted designer in her mid 30’s (me).

Depending on your preferences and length of stay, we can interact as much or as little as you like, but it you're long term, I would like to foster a warm, social, but responsible household thats respectful and communicative. I’m looking for folks who like their common areas pretty clean and tidy and value that in their home, are financially stable, responsible but have fun, who are great communicators and want a happy, harmonious, living situation.

The house is fully furnished as I've inherited many many cool pieces from family members and the room (or rooms) for rent can be either furnished (will be more completely decorated with better art and include a desk and dresser) or unfurnished (we can negotiate down price or deposit if unfurnished).

- Extremely spacious layout with great natural light
- house contains 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, but I use one room as an office.
- Huge backyard, deck, orchard of fruit trees (not shown in pics),
- Basement storage available (its also a full workshop)
- Washer and dryer in basement
- Working Fireplace
- Dishwasher
- Includes my cute cat and very loving dog
- street parking in front of the house (loads of spots 100% of the time and its a safe area)
- 15 min walk to Lake Merritt, 4 min drive to TJ’s, shops, 10min walk to Theater, and more
- If someone wants to rent both rooms and have an room/office set up thats an option too, you'll have your own wing.

Note: I’m just recently moved in and unpacking last things. I’m giving the kitchen and eventually the bathrooms a renovation to update the look so excuse the pictures of any unfinished spaces, terrible light fixtures, paint swatches, boxes, and overuse of ugly tile. All these are changing before June.

I’m a mostly-remote working professional designer in my mid 30’s. I love music, shows, trying new things, traveling, hosting friends, gardening, and anything zesty in life. I’m polite and considerate (a mid-westerner), am high EQ, highly communicative and rarely take things personally. Sometimes I work crazy hours - I’m working on that.
