Looking for 1-2 Roommates

Hi everyone! I’m Jonathan, I’m 23. I’m looking for 1-2 roommates (in 20s, any gender, LGBTQ+ welcome) to move ideally in December! I’m looking at neighborhoods along the red line or blue line with a nice social scene, so the ones I’ve particularly been looking at are Wrigleyville, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Bucktown, and Logan Square but I’m down for any. I am looking to stay under $1,500/month, but I’m willing to pay more if we find the perfect place like a mid-rise with a view of Lake Michigan.

I’m from the metro Detroit area and I went to Purdue for Mechanical Engineering. I worked near home for about a year, called it quits recently to fulfill my dream of moving to Chicago and am currently still searching for something in Chicago (I have a good financial cushion though). I enjoy running, tennis, piano, violin, cooking, reading, and yapping with friends. I intend on joining a run club and finding other social clubs in the city and wouldn’t mind if you tagged along!

I’d love to be friends with my roommates rather than just people that live together. I look forward to exploring the city together or having chill nights in. I love socializing but I also need my quiet alone time to recharge.
