Room to rent in PS/CC area $1500 max rent

My name is Todd and I'm looking for a room to rent in Palm Springs and my max budget is $1500, I've never been late in my rent, my landlords always love me as a tenant, I'm very quiet, cause no problems, a no-drama type of guy, friendly (I work in a restaurant in downtown PS). Privacy is core to me, and I respect it in others.

My current landlord is selling his condo, I would prefer at least 6 months, longer if things work well. I hate moving, as we all do.

I like to cook (and happy to share if others enjoy the food) and love even more learning to cook other cuisines. I read a lot of books, watch a little tv, play on my computer, I have a PS4 and Switch 1 that I enjoy from time to time, mostly a stay at home guy, clean.

I've been in PS for 5 years, previously I lived in London UK for 20 years (I wanted to see the world), originally from Oregon/Washington. I've travelled quite extensively around Europe as well as a couple of trips to Central/South America, and also Australia.

In another life I spent many years in corporates, from engineering positions to marketing at IT companies big and small (e. g. IBM at which I worked 5 years), but at some point the whole “shackled to the desk” world became less interesting and I left and pursued and completed a 2nd Bachelor's degree while I was living in London. Since then I've been enjoying working around food in restaurants. I don't miss the desk work at all.
