Couple searching for room/roommates

This was us at a Flyers game, we did this to celebrate our one year sober anniversary

Hi! My name is Stacey and my husband's name is Neil. We are looking for a room to rent for a maximum of a year or so, while we save to buy our own home. We both work full time. He works at a beverage distributor and I work for a local cleaning company, mostly on the air bnb/str side. We are 44 and 45, friendly, quiet and mostly keep to ourselves. We are in recovery, with almost 2 years clean and sober, but are not adverse to having roommates that drink socially or who are 420 friendly. We currently manage a coed sober living house in Point Breeze, so we are comfortable living in a communal environment. We are left leaning, but not crazy about our beliefs, though we are comfortable sharing them when needed or asked. He is into video games, wrestling and horror movies. I'm into yoga, meditation, and knit when I have the time and wherewithal. We both DO smoke currently, though we are in the process of quitting, and have cut down significantly, but some days are better than others. But wven on a bad day, we do NOT smoke indoors, we bith like our living areas to smell good, and are aware of how bad smoke smells indoors. We'd like to find roommates who are, like us, kind, good hearted and friendly, but who either keep to themselves, or at a minimum, don't get insulted when I/we spend the majority of the time in our own space. Race, orientation, and preferences are not a deciding factor for us. You are who you are, you love who you love, and I'm not about to tell someone about how they feel when it comes to how they identify. All either of us care about is your character. If you're honest and kind, you're our kind of people.
