In Need of a Room

Hi,
My name is Nikki and I am interested in renting a room. I am hoping that by sharing some information about myself, you would be willing to work with me. I recently moved back to California from living in North Carolina for the past year. I am a Substitute Teacher for 4 school districts. I am also currently going to school for my second master’s degree. I am basically starting over in California from scratch.

I am currently living with a friend and her family; however they are giving me until Oct. 31st to find a place due to it being too big of a household and are not able to extend my stay. I started working as a Substitute Teacher just a few weeks ago, so this circumstance has not given me any time to save up for a place.

As a Substitute Teacher, we get paid monthly, but do not get paid on the first of the month, we actually get paid on the 9th of every month. So, I will not get paid until Nov. 9th with no place or family to stay with. I will be homeless if I cannot find a room for rent. I am looking for a room as a single occupant, no kids. I am a 37 year old, clean and organized person. I am respectful and take accountability of any issues or concerns. I am adaptable, friendly, and flexible.

I would love to rent from someone willing to wait until I get paid on Nov. 9th to pay for the rent and deposit needed for the room. I am a person who makes sure to pay rent on time, it's just right now the circumstances of my situation are not very ideal.
