Seeking Room in Boston – Jan 2027

Hii! My name is Shruti, I’m 23, and I’m moving to Boston from Northern Virginia in early January 2027 to start a new full-time job!

I’m looking for a private room in the North End, Beacon Hill, West End, Charlestown, or Downtown Crossing area, ideally with 1–3 female roommates who are either grad students or working professionals. I’m also open to other neighborhoods near the Green, Blue, or Orange Lines, with a commute to Government Center ideally under 20 minutes! My budget is around $1,500/month, but I’m flexible for the right place.

Non-negotiable: Laundry in the building (in-unit or shared laundry facilities are both fine 😊).

A little about me: I’ll be working a hybrid schedule, so I’ll be working from home around 2–3 days a week! Outside of work I love trying new restaurants and coffee shops, movies, thrifting, hiking, and baking! I also love the occasional going out, hosting, and wine nights, but enjoy cozy nights in, as well!

I’m pretty social and would like to be friends with my roommates, but I also value personal space and downtime. I’m clean, responsible, and think open communication is super important when living together.
