I’m Venus, 23 (turning 24 next month), and finishing my doctorate! I’m moving from NC to NYC between mid-November and early December, with some flexibility.

I recently worked at a healthcare AI startup and am transitioning back into the NGO/global health space. I love traveling (I’ll probably be out of the country once or twice a month, I also lived across three continents so I love learning about different cultures) , workout classes, dancing, trying restaurants, and anything creative! I’m social but also love cozy nights in and value alone time. I’m Christian, and my faith is important to me.

I’d love to be friends with my roommate and make our place feel like home! Cleanliness, communication, and respecting each other’s space are important to me, and I’m looking for a pet-free home.

My budget is around $3,500 for my share, with some flexibility for the right place. I’m looking at Midtown and below, especially East Village, SoHo, or FiDi. Ideally, I’d love my own bathroom, plenty of natural light, and laundry in the unit or building. I’m open to finding a place together or joining an existing lease. I’ve already found a few apartments within this budget and would be happy to share them!
