I'm a 29 year-old freelanced creative professional currently living in Brooklyn, looking for an affordable room in a welcoming, comfortable home!
I'm an artist and work independently across a few creative fields. My schedule is pretty dynamic, and I tend to keep myself busy, but I really value having a peaceful place to come home to.



What I'm looking for:


I'm flexible on the length of the sublet. Natural light, a comfortable shared living space, and a reasonably clean, organized home would be amazing!
I enjoy curated gatherings, like hosting thanksgiving, celebrating a friend's birthday, or having an out-of-state friend visit for the weekend. Of course, I'd always want to make sure we're on the same page about having people over!


I do have a cleaning business, so I come with some pretty solid cleaning skills. We can save on cleaning fees, and I'll definitely help keep us from living in chaos together!

eBike:

I have a compact electric bike that I use regularly and would need to bring into the apartment for charging. If the building offers designated bike storage, that would be a bonus! I'm extremely mindful of shared spaces and would always make sure it's stored neatly and out of the way. If space is limited (as it usually is in NYC apartments!), I'd most likely keep it in my room.

Who I'd love to live with:

I'd love to live with another creative or someone who’s naturally curious and enjoys learning new things. I'm always happy to occasionally cook together, explore the neighborhood, or share a conversation, but I equally appreciate everyone's independence.
I thrive on comfortable silence, where we can relax in each other's presence without feeling obligated to socialize.

What you can expect from me:

I wake up pretty early, usually around 5am. I always make coffee and give myself an hour or two before I ship out to reality. I come with a Nespresso machine so you’re more than welcome to indulge with me!

I'm very resourceful and pretty handy. I even come equipped with compact power tools and two capable hands! I work in personal and home management, so I'm naturally in the mindset of keeping a living space comfortable, functional, and well cared for. I genuinely enjoy making spaces feel lived-in, organized, and welcoming.

A little note about cats:

I also have a gig with a cat-sitting service called Kitty in NY, which I'd love to continue doing if my future roommate is comfortable with occasional short-term feline guests and the building allows it.
I'd happily share half of my cat-sitting compensation in exchange for being able to host, and I wouldn't expect you to take on any responsibility for their care. Your comfort would always come first, and it would be entirely optional!

Bonus: better if you come with a cat! In that case, I'll probably get my feline fix at home and won't feel quite as compelled to host any temporary visitors.

Ultimately, I'm looking for a place that feels like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep. I'd love to find roommates who feel the same way. A little creativity, mutual respect, good communication, and a comfortable atmosphere go a long way with me. Life is already hard, lets make it easier!
