Looking for New Apartment November 1st

I'm looking for a new apartment now. I am open to studio/1BRs as well as spaces with roommates.

Currently, I live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. While I love the area, I am looking for somewhere with more space (my current room is tiny and I work from home) and ideally natural light. A private bathroom and large room would also be ideal.

I am mainly interested in square footage, natural light, and (if with roommates) normal low drama people. I generally can do without other amenities. I also could be a good person for an apartment far from the metro, in a walk up, or without some amenities as I mainly do not need to commute.

I'm currently employed as a Software Engineer working on humanitarian projects.

I grew up I the Philadelphia area, have also lived in Washington DC and Buenos Aires, and have lived in NYC for the past year.

I could stay in this apartment for as little as 2 months, as well as longer depending on fit. In general, I am seeking my own 1 bedroom some time next year and will stay here in the interim. Most likely, I will be in this apartment about half the time given time I spend at my girlfriend's place, visiting family at the Jersey shore, and travel.

In free time I enjoy music, photography, going for walks, cooking, checking out all of the interesting things NYC has to offer.

In terms of my personal habits I'm generally pretty clean and organized but not a neat freak, drink socially and in moderation, and live a fairly clean lifestyle. I also like learning languages, I can speak Spanish and Portuguese fluently, recently I have started dabbling in Irish and Ukrainian.

I'm generally fine living with anyone as long as they are polite and respectful.
